BACKGROUND

The construction of Nambula High School commenced in November 2006. Following good P.L.E results obtained by our pupils in Nambula Memorial Primary School. We made a decision to open the secondary unit to offer continuity for our students to further their education in an environment known to them in which they had thrived. Nambula High school was opened to the public in February 2007, with the support of our grass root leaders who gave its operations the blessings.

Located in an impoverished village of Nakasajja, residents in the area had no value for education. Their lively hood depended on stone quarry to earn a living and children as young as ten years of age spend time in the quarry mining stones. It took the leadership of Nambula schools to educate the community about the importance of educating their children. Therefore, Nambula High school aimed to provide quality secondary education to residents of Kyampisi Sub county and neighbouring areas. To improve the uptake of secondary education by reducing the distance children travelled to reach existing education provisions. It also aimed to enhance opportunities for students learning and bridging the education gap in the area enabling residents of Kyampisi compete favorably in the job market with the rest of the country.

CURRENT

We are the leading Secondary School in Kyampisi Sub county. Our performance is 100% pass rate.

We are proud to announce that  many of our ex-students have graduated in professional courses such as  Law, Accounting and Education.
